Local audio and practice data
PracticeLoop copies audio files you select into local app storage. File names and file information, analysis results, loop markers, playback settings, setlists, practice history, and app preferences are stored on your device. They support playback, analysis, and music practice. Audio analysis using Apple's Music Understanding framework runs on your device. PracticeLoop does not upload your audio or practice data to developer-operated servers. No user account is required.
File providers, backups, and deletion
When importing from iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider may first retrieve or download the selected file under its own terms. PracticeLoop does not sync its library through iCloud. Imported audio copies are excluded from device backups. Other local app data may be included in backups depending on your device settings. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device; offloading retains data. Original files held by your file provider and existing device backups are unaffected.
Analytics and tracking
PracticeLoop currently integrates no analytics or advertising services and sends no analytics events. The “Allow anonymous analytics” setting only saves your choice locally; enabling it does not send any events.
Purchases through Apple
In-app purchases and purchase restoration use Apple StoreKit. The app checks the purchase and entitlement status supplied by Apple to unlock features. The developer does not receive payment details such as credit card numbers. Apple's privacy policy applies to Apple's processing for the App Store and purchases.
Email support
When you contact us, we process your email address, message, and any information you choose to include to handle your request. The app's support feature prepares an editable email draft containing the app version, build, app identifier, device model, operating system, and language/region. This information is transmitted through your email provider only when you send the email yourself. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related requests, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in answering other enquiries. Under our existing privacy notice, this data is deleted once your request is fully answered unless statutory retention requirements apply.
Your rights
Where the legal requirements are met, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Please use the contact address below for requests. The developer cannot access content stored solely on your device.
