Check what was saved: Cyclr 2.8.2 and Apple Health
After a ride, you want to know whether your recording was saved and made it to Apple Health. Cyclr 2.8.2 improves workout verification and the recovery of entries that have been confirmed to be missing.
A saved ride and a Health workout are separate entries
Your ride in Cyclr and its workout in Apple Health are two separate records. Having a saved ride in Cyclr does not, by itself, mean the Health entry is already present.
Version 2.8.2 checks Apple Health workouts more reliably after saving. Synchronization states are also displayed more consistently, making it easier to understand what happened after a ride.
Restore workouts confirmed to be missing
When a workout is confirmed to be missing, you can start recovery from the ride details. The feature focuses on those entries whose absence has been established.
This helps when the ride is present in Cyclr but its corresponding workout is missing from Apple Health. It concerns transferring your own Cyclr rides to Apple Health.
Improved transfer between iPhone and Watch
Ride transfers between iPhone and Apple Watch have also been made more robust. Version 2.8.2 additionally improves heart-rate zone displays and details involving routes, energy values and gradient calculations.
This release focuses on more reliable handling of existing recordings. Several of these improvements work together if you use Apple Watch and Apple Health for your rides.
Good to know
Is this about importing workouts from other apps through Apple Health?
