More of the road ahead: map and Watch improvements in Cyclr 2.9.1
On a bike ride, it helps to see what is coming next. Cyclr 2.9.1 shows more of the road ahead on the live map and improves the way Apple Watch rides are handled. The update also brings a tidier ride list and better readability with larger text.
A clearer view of the road ahead
Your position is only part of what makes a map useful. The stretch of road you are heading toward matters just as much. Version 2.9.1 gives that area more space in Cyclr’s live map.
The map shows more of the road ahead, with improved behavior when you pause and recenter it.
Improved saving and transfer of Watch rides
A ride is not quite finished after the last kilometer: the recording still needs to be saved and made available on your iPhone. Version 2.9.1 improves the workflows for saving and transferring Apple Watch rides.
Starting without heart rate and enabling it later have also been improved. The required system permissions for heart-rate measurement still apply.
A more consistent ride list
Ride filters now scroll with the list and sit directly on the page background. This gives the view a more consistent layout as you browse your saved rides.
The update also improves readability with larger text and revises translations. Its focus is on the screens and steps you use regularly when recording and revisiting your rides.
Good to know
Who is this update especially useful for?
Anyone who uses the live map, records rides on Apple Watch or uses Cyclr with a larger system text size.
