Keep power and cadence in view with Cyclr 2.8.3
If you use power and cadence alongside speed when cycling, Cyclr 2.8.3 brings useful improvements. The update expands Bluetooth power meter support and makes known combination sensors easier to recognize after a restart or reconnection.
Power and cadence from compatible sensors
Power and cadence describe different aspects of your ride: how much power you produce and how quickly you pedal. Cyclr 2.8.3 supports displaying these readings from compatible Bluetooth power meters.
Cyclr recognizes known combination sensors more reliably after a restart or reconnection. Bluetooth sensor features require Cyclr Pro and compatible hardware; the available readings depend on the sensor.
Find your rides through iPhone search
You can optionally find and open saved rides and routes through Spotlight, Siri and Shortcuts. This can shorten the path to a particular ride when you would rather not browse the list in Cyclr first.
Your content is available to system search only if you turn this on in Cyclr. Saved routes are part of Cyclr Pro. Map thumbnails have also been improved.
Health synchronization and accessibility improvements
The update makes Apple Health synchronization, recovery and diagnostics more reliable and transparent.
It also improves support for larger system text, reduced motion, larger touch targets and more stable ride controls. These changes support using Cyclr on different devices and with different display settings.
Good to know
Are my rides automatically made available to Spotlight?
No. Finding your rides and routes through system search is enabled only if you turn it on in Cyclr.
